Born from hardship, grounded in faith

Fight For Your Light was born from a season of waiting, hardship, and unwavering faith. What began as a personal journey through life's unexpected challenges became a calling to walk alongside others facing their own battles. During seasons marked by incarceration within our family, financial uncertainty, loss, and moments that tested our hope, God continually reminded us that even in darkness, our light still has purpose.
In 2024, that calling became Fight For Your Light. We began by serving through prison ministry — writing letters of encouragement, supporting families impacted by incarceration, and reminding people that their identity is not defined by their circumstances. As we listened to the stories of those around us, we realized the need extended far beyond prison walls. Families experiencing homelessness, children facing illness, youth searching for purpose, and individuals navigating difficult life transitions all needed the same message: hope is still alive.
Today, Fight For Your Light proudly serves Denton, Texas and surrounding communities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex. Through outreach, mentorship, practical support, and community partnerships, we are committed to helping individuals and families discover healing, hope, and purpose through faith.
